My Horse wears Converse All-Stars,
I also made it wear jeans,
I tried to fit it in one of my
t-shirts,
But it started tearing at the seems.
It was my reality application to
anthropomorphism,
But it didn't seem to work that well.
But never being able to speak, shout or
sing, like in those cartoons!
My Horse must have been going through
hell.
Does this horse not aspire to be a
person?
Not even take on a man's role?
Because my cat thinks he's a lion,
And a worm is surely envious of a mole.
The rabbit hops along, and sometimes
stands on two feet.
If it has never even seen a Kangaroo,
how can it practice to be one?
And yet, that's what's happening, right
before my eyes.
Next, we'll have dogs sitting on the
loo!
Maybe they have the discovery channel,
Or are taught it when they are young,
Animals are always practicing,
and the change has already begun.
I saw this programme about raptors!
It was all about how they cleverly
flank their prey.
But I know they were all burlesque
dancers,
With feather boas and peacock knickers!
And that's how Parrots came around
today!
So where did all the dinosaurs go?
From their hierarchy, they ceased to
be!
They all practiced trying to be
something else.
And today's animals are still never
happy!
